If you're anything like the team here at The Chic Canuck, you can easily get sucked into a YouTube black hole when it comes to watching adorable and hilarious animal videos. Who doesn't? We're not ashamed, we love our furry friends!

For this reason we are super excited to be attending the second annual cat film festival Just For Cats Film Festival on April 17th (in support of the Canadian Federation of Humane Societies and the Toronto Humane Society) and extend 2 tickets to the sold-out 7pm screening that night!

The Just For Cats Film Festival, held at TIFF Bell Lightbox in downtown Toronto, will feature an hour-long presentation of the best cat videos from the internet over the past year. As a supporter of the Toronto Humane Society (and serious cat lover), JUNO Award-winning and Grammy-nominated artist, deadmau5, will also be in attendance at this year's event. deadmau5 adopted both of his cats from the Toronto Humane Society, and at the event you will be able to see some of the cats that are currently available for adoption from the Toronto Humane Society. If you've been thinking about adopting a cat, here's your chance!

Winner will be announced and contacted on Tuesday April 14th.

Show tickets are still available for the 9:15pm screening on April 17th, 2015. Not in Toronto? No problem! The Festival will occur in Ottawa (June 13), Waterloo (June 18), Fredericton (June 19), and Saskatoon (June 21). More dates will soon be announced nationwide, including Halifax, Montreal, Vancouver and Edmonton.

Part of the proceeds from the event will go towards improving cat welfare by support animal shelters throughout Canada.
