Shipping & Returns
WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR RETURNS OR EXCHANGES?
The team at The Chic Canuck wants to ensure our customer’s satisfaction. We accept returns on regular price, unused items within 14 days of the invoice date, for exchange or store credit. Please note that all return shipping costs are at the expense of the sender.
Refunds will only be issued for faulty items or damaged products. Customers must alert The Chic Canuck customer service department at firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours of receiving an order of any damages or faulty products in order to receive assistance with shipping the return and receiving the refund upon its arrival back to our head office for review and inspection.
UPDATE: Now that we are carrying our first fashion label, we have expanded our return policy to include returns and refunds on any unworn garments (excluding underwear) should the fit or style be the wrong size upon receipt. Please feel free to email us at email@example.com with any questions about any items on the site, and we suggest considering purchasing 2 sizes and sending back what doesn't fit. A return shipping label can be provided upon request.
Currently, we are unable to accept returns from outside of Canada.
HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?
We aim to ship items from our warehouse as quickly as possible, within approximately 1-2 business days. Items should arrive within 7 business days to any major metropolitan area in Canada. Items sent internationally should be received within 10 business days to major metropolitan areas. Please note that items shipped to rural areas may require longer delivery times.
Next day shipping is offered at a premium rate in Canada only.
PICK UPS AND SHIPPING RATES
If you are located in the GTA and would like to coordinate a free pick up in downtown Toronto, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org before placing your order. We ship all of our items through Canada Post and our shipping rates are set to reflect the costs associated with standard shipping through Canada Post. To ensure we get your gifts delivered to you by Christmas Eve, December 24th, please follow the shipping guidelines below when placing your order:
U.S. - All Orders must be placed by Wednesday, December 17th, at midnight EST to ensure delivery by Christmas eve.
CANADA - All orders must be placed by December 20th, at 3pm EST to ensure delivery by Christmas eve. After December 18th NEXT DAY - CANADA ONLY must be selected upon checkout to ensure on time holiday delivery. A $25 fee applies.
TORONTO & GTA - All orders must be placed by December 21st at midnight EST to ensure delivery by by Christmas eve. After December 18th NEXT DAY - CANADA ONLY must be selected upon checkout to ensure on time holiday delivery. A $25 fee applies.
